Restaurant Ordering & Kitchen Display System
Customers order from a QR code at the table or online. Orders appear instantly on kitchen screens, and the front of house sees status and takes payment.
Screens are illustrative layouts of the product, not client screenshots.
Overview
What it is
A QR-code ordering system with a kitchen display. Guests scan, order and pay at the table or online; tickets show up instantly on the right kitchen station; staff track status from a tablet.
The problem
Why it was needed
Paper tickets and shouted orders caused mistakes and slow tables, and third-party ordering apps took a large cut and owned the customer relationship.

Architecture
How It Fits Together
- Guest PWAmenu, cart, pay

- Socket.ioticket events
- Kitchen displayper-station screens
- MongoDBorders and menus
- Stripepayments
Order events fan out over WebSockets, so the kitchen, floor and guest all see the same status.
